2024 JUNIOR GOLF





Finals Day


The Balmore Golf Club junior championships was held on Sunday 15 September this year. 23 Competitors using both yellow tees and blue tees competed for the junior championship and handicap championships. At the completion of play the results of the competition were as follows;

Prize giving will be made later in the year details to follow.


All competitors are to be congratulated for supporting the Club and taking part in the competition. Hopefully more competitive golf can be introduced in due course.


JJ McCarry League 2B individual final


Balmore Golf Club junior member Calum Christie is to be congratulated on qualifying for the JJ McCarry League 2B individual final against Lenzie Golf Club. The final was played over 2 rounds home and away with Calum losing on holes up over both ties. Well done Calum.


Coaching


Due to increased demand coaching has had to be split into 3 groups 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5pm on Sundays from this coming Sunday to the 13 October this year. Any guardians not on the BGC junior Whatsapp group please advise your mobile contact details and Rob Campbell will add you to the group.
