ETIQUETTE
Enjoy your golf and allow others to do the same
"In golf, the customs, etiquette and decorum are as important as the rules of play" Bobby Jones
Golf is the finest of games and one of the few remaining which demands the highest standards of integrity and behaviour from its players.
Members and visitors at Balmore Golf Club are expected to maintain these high standards so that everyone can enjoy their day's golf or their time in the clubhouse. Foul or offensive language, threatening behaviour, club throwing and the like will not be tolerated.
Players should avoid slow play at all times. Should your group fall a clear hole behind the player(s) in front and begin to delay the player(s) behind, please invite those behind to play through at the earliest possible opportunity.
Balmore is not a particularly lengthy golf course and an average round should take no more than 3 1/2 hours. Please be considerate and help us to make everyone's time at Balmore a positive experience.
In order to maintain our course in its beautiful condition, players should replace divots and repair pitch marks on the green and fringes.
