Dear Participant

On a warm summer day where the sun eventually shone through, 174 “Seniors” participated in the Balmore Senior Gents Pairs Open. Scott Ritchie & Mel Thorburn (both Biggar GC), were the Winners of the DH Russell Trophy with an excellent return of 45 Pts. They finished a whisker ahead of John Donald & Joe McArthur (both Greenock Whinhill) who also scored 45 Pts, on a better last 6 holes.

A special mention to Malcolm MacDonald (East Kilbride Sports Club) who had his first hole in one at the 6th hole.
