The Gents Member & Guest took place at the second attempt on Saturday 12th July. On a boiling hot day, with the course in fantastic condition, 47 pairs competed for the McAllister Salver and a wide range of competition and on-course prizes. The winners, with an excellent nett better ball score of 59, were Declan Gorman (M) and Maximus McPhee (G), pipping Brian Ferguson (M) and Craig Cochrane (G) on a better inward half

Iain Thomson (M) returned the best individual scratch score with a solid 68.

Council thanks the organising team, pro-shop, green staff and bar and catering staff for their contribution to a highly enjoyable, but hot, day. Council would also like to thank prize donators for their generosity and extends its congratulations to all the prize winners.
